Historic Royal Opera House Curtain Project
Digitek is proud to have played a role in one of the most prestigious textile and embroidery projects undertaken in the UK in recent years. Working alongside leading industry specialists and the Royal School of Needlework, Digitek provided professional embroidery expertise and technical support during the creation of the new Main Stage curtains for the Royal Ballet and Opera
The curtains were officially unveiled during the Royal Ballet and Opera Spring Gala and viewed by His Majesty King Charles III.
The project showcased the very highest standards of craftsmanship, embroidery and stage design, highlighting the expertise, precision and attention to detail that Digitek brings to every project.
We're extremely proud to have played our part in the creation of the Anointing Screen produced for use during the Coronation Service on 6th May 2023 at Westminster Abbey. It was designed by iconographer Aidan Hart and brought to life through both hand and digital embroidery.
